How to Reach
By Air- If planning to visit by air then Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest facility in Dehradun. Get down at Dehradun by air and from there a bus, taxi, or a private cab facility is there to reach Kedarnath.
By Road – There is good connectivity to Kedarnath from Delhi and Dehradun by Bus. Good luxury buses are available to reach Kedarnath. The nearest motorable road is Gaurikund. Once you reach Dehradun there are many facilities like bus, taxi or a private cab.
By Train – At Kedarnath as such, there is no railway station. However, at Rishikesh, there is a railway station and it is well connected to many major cities of India.

- It is good to avoid the winter season for Kedarnath Yatra as the climate is harsh and the temple is also not open for pilgrimage.
