Among Us  is a video game with  online and multiplayer options developed by the American game studio  InnerSloth and released on June 15, 2018 . The game became  popular in 2020 and gained a huge following thanks to well-known  Twitch streamers  and  YouTubers .

It is stated that Among Us provides the development of concepts such as doubting, questioning, voting, and the responsibility of doing a task for individuals playing the game. Therefore, the game has become a great source of entertainment not only for “children”, but also for families and adults. The game, which is preferred by people of all ages who stay at home, have boredom, want to have a good time and seek entertainment during the pandemic period, has been at the top of the game markets for a long time, supported by many publishers.

How Many People Can Play?

Among Us is a multiplayer game that supports 4 to 10 players. Between 1 and 3 players are randomly select as Impostor in each game, while the rest are chosen as Crewmates.

As for the Impostors; You have option of fake mission list to align with Crewmate and sabotage the map’s systems and kill Crewmate members.

If a player dies, they become a  ghost  . With the ability to pass through walls, these ghosts interact with the world only in limited ways and are invisible to anyone but other ghosts. Also, they cannot vote. All players, including ghosts, have a limited view range, which allows players to hide from other players’ view even though the game has a top-down perspective.

The ” Risks” of the Game

Like many video games, Among Us contains risks for certain age groups. Although the game is a low-graphics, fun game to be play with friends, there are elimination animations, killing animations and brutality scenes in the game. It should be note that these are particularly inappropriate for age groups younger than 13.
