Here are a few useful tips to help any institute get recognition among Top recognized institutes:

It is undeniably significant to accomplish all the academic and administrative goals to meet the parameters set by NIRF. Furthermore, according to a recent study, it was found that one of the contributing factors to obtaining a good NIRF score is a reliable alumni network.

Gathering updated Alumni database

Every passing year, institutes diversify and attempt to include more courses and introduce various facilities. Simultaneously, as institutions grow, so does their alumni network, and they must maintain an updated alumni database. But over the years, due to a lack of proper communication, institutions usually lose touch with the alumni.

But thanks to the advanced software and tools that institutes can use effectively, that helps to update the contact information of the alumni. Hence, while applying for NIRF, they need to get complete and updated alumni data, mention the educational details of the data, and identify what the alumni are currently doing.

Efficient student support system

Alumni are a great source of support system, and seeking their aid to advance the institute’s cause is a good move. Moreover, institutes can plan and organize various activities wherein alumni can have a significant role.

These events can help get employment opportunities for the students.

On the other hand, through mentorship and expert sessions, the alumni can guide students through voluntary programs. It is the perfect opportunity for young learners or recent graduates to get guidance from professionals and different field experts.

Fundraising and scholarships

NAAC grading system emphasizes overall academic performance and many other aspects. But it also focuses on the curricular and co-curricular activities conducted in the institute. Similarly, NIRF ranking also gives importance to the activities and fundraising events, and scholarship programs that institutes carry out.

Pedagogical techniques

Institutes must establish a flexible curriculum and teaching style conducive to change and alter as per the educational needs and demand. Consequently, learners will be able to get the help they need when teachers would recognize their issues.

Several kinds of courses

Institutes should also include multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary courses so that the students can get better options. Ultimately, when the HEIs accomplish the primary goals aligned with the essential parameters, it increases the chances of getting a NIRF ranking.
