Here are a few of the Dungeon highlights-
The Tyrant Boat Ride
Go back 1000 years to medieval dungeons where ‘tyrants’ were sentenced to death upon merely the suspicion of plotting. You are the accused here. You plotted against Henry VIII with Anne Boleyn and now the Lift jester will take you on the last ride of your life. It is a boat ride, and it is anything but scenic. Don’t worry about getting wet. It would be the last of your concerns. Watch out for the rodents, and don’t squirm at the fowl stench.
Gunpowder, Treason, And Plot
So you fleed from your execution by traveling through dark, rat-infested tunnels. Not a good idea, innit? Now you are in the year 1605 and witnessing Guy Fawkes plot his explosive plan to blow up the House Of Lords. You wait with bated breath. Will he succeed? You will soon find out!
- Lovett’s Pie Shop and Sweeney Todd’s Barber shop
Welcome to the world of Penny Dreadful. This is the place where horrors unfold. Though by the looks of it, it seems like just another barber shop, look within to see the truth. Legend has it that Todd murders his customers with a razor and gives their fresh meat to Mrs. Lovett.
Mrs. Lovett then bakes the savory items with the ‘juiciest, freshest meat in the market’ . When she says she will butter you up, beware because she might literally. We have heard that Sweeny has slashed his prices, especially for you. You might want to miss that one, even if it sounds tempting.
Jack The Ripper And the Whitechapel Murders
It is 1888 and you find yourself on the East end of London. The streets are notorious for harboring a murderer known for slitting the throats of women and mutilating their abdomens. Upon reaching Mitre Square, you will find Mary Jane Kelly. She will spill to you all the gruesome details of the recent Whitechapel murders.
However, she will slip by upon discovering that she has revealed a tad too much. Do you hear a noise? Don’t look behind because it is a cloaked stranger following you. Try to escape through the network of the Whitechapel labyrinth. Will you succeed? You will know if you do. Don’t enter the Ten Bells Pub. According to rumors all the victims of Jack the Ripper drank there.
Drop Dead: Drop Ride
Welcome to the New Gate gallows. It is the year 1783, and you are expected to put on a show for the spectators. The spectators are here to witness your execution. Your executioner will show you the ropes. Can you hear your heartbeat to the rhythm of the crowd cheering?
The judge, priest, and executioner are ready. It does not matter if you aren’t. It is the 1700s, there are no human rights organizations to fight for you. Death is cruel and instant. When the noose is pulled, you will drop into nothingness, and this would mark the end of your ride.
